Hi !
My name is Bridget Carney - Mogan and I am a junior User Experience and User Interface designer based out of Boston Massachusetts. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in May of 2022 with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts - Graphic Design. I minored in Art History with a focus on Baroque and Renaissance Art.
I have been an avid gamer since I was 5 and was gifted my first GameCube. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker became a huge source of inspiration for me, and I learned to draw A LOT of different Links lol. With the PS2, I discovered my love for Tenchu, and stealth games became a huge source of love for me.
Despite my passion for gaming and art, I was a STEM student for the majority of my life. I went to school taking AP science and math courses before moving to Massachusetts for a degree in Nursing. I drew as a hobby, and didn't know or understand the depth that design offered as a field.
In 2018, after meeting an ESports designer, I discovered my passion was not in STEM but in gaming. Discovering that I could combine logic and research with creativity and art was life changing. I transferred schools, moved cities, and dove straight into design.
I'm excited to continue on this journey. There is so much more to learn and experience, and my adventure has just begun.
