The Dinosaur Tour is a book designed for children ages 5-7, who are just starting to dive deeper into the reading levels. This book was created for those with a curious mind about dinosaurs, while keeping in mind that creativity and activity help stimulate learning. As Morris the Brontosaurus would say... Let's Stomp to It!
The prompt for this project involved starting with the word "perception", and carving our own path until we reached a prompt we enjoyed. My prompt path lead me to zoology and extinction which inspired my dinosaur book.
Designing for children was a different challenge, with vocabulary and attention span being really important factors to my design process.
For the poster design, taking into consideration children's knack for creativity, I made a poster that allowed the children to color their dinosaur themselves! That way they can hang their personal masterpiece up on the wall.

The motion was made as a simple advertisement for children and adults to be intrigued into buying the book.
I worked with bootstrap to code a website that goes in tandem with the book. It includes learning sections and a place to print more dinosaur coloring pages! It was fun to learn how to code a site and manage the way it looks all on my own.
